Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of initiatives for one of our clients. This role will work closely with Project Managers and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are organized, tracked, and executed efficiently. The ideal candidate has experience in a retail environment and is comfortable supporting high-visibility projects, including those involving POS systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in planning, executing, and closing projects within a retail environment
• Coordinate project schedules, meetings, and deliverables across cross-functional teams
• Track project progress, milestones, risks, and dependencies; escalate issues as needed
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders, including senior leadership
• Maintain project documentation, including timelines, action logs, and meeting notes
• Facilitate communication between business, IT, and external vendors
• Assist in managing POS-related initiatives, including coordination of system updates, testing, and rollouts
• Ensure alignment of project activities with business priorities and timelines
• Support change management and communication efforts

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role
• Experience working in a retail environment (mandatory)
• Exposure to working with senior leadership or executive stakeholders (preferred/strongly desired)
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems (preferred)
• Familiarity with GK Software / GK POS platforms (bonus)
• Understanding of Agile or Waterfall project methodologies
• Experience supporting retail technology or store system implementations
